Overview sM74HC595 is a high speed CMOS device, 74Hc595 pin compatible low power Schottky TTL (LSTTL) series.
SM74HC595 is an 8-bit serial shift register with storage register and three-state output. The shift register and the storage register use separate clocks.
In the ascending edge of SCK, data shifts, while in the ascending edge of RCK, data is transferred from each register to the storage register. If two clock signals are bound together, the shift register will always lead the memory register by one clock pulse.
The shift register has a serial input (SER) terminal and a serial standard output (Q7") terminal for cascading. SM74HC595 also provides asynchronous reset (low efficiency) for eight orders of shift registers. The storage register has eight three-state bus-driven outputs. When the output enabler (G) is low, the data in the storage register can be output normally.
