TPS61088 is a high power density fully integrated boost converter with a 11m Ω power switch and a 13m Ω rectifier switch, providing an efficient small-scale solution for portable systems. With a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 12V, the tps6108 can support applications with single or two lithium batteries. The device has a 10A switching current capability and can provide an output voltage of up to 12.6V. TPS61088 uses adaptive constant turn off time peak current control topology to adjust the output voltage. TPS61088 works in PWM mode under medium to heavy load. Under light load conditions, the device can select one of the following two operating modes through the mode pin. One is PFM mode which can improve efficiency; the other is forced PWM mode which can avoid application problems caused by low switching frequency. The switching frequency in PWM mode can be adjusted from 200kHz to 2.2MHz by external resistance. TPS61088 also realizes programmable soft start function and adjustable switching peak current limit function. In addition, the device also provides 13.2v output over-voltage protection, cycle by cycle over-current protection and thermal shutdown protection. TPS61088 is packaged in 20 pin 4.50 mm × 3.50 mm vofn.

It can also supply power for 5-12v products by setting the output voltage.
