Mfrc522 is a high integrated read-write card chip used in 13.56MHz contactless communication. It is a low-voltage, low-cost, small size contactless read-write card chip for "three meters" application, which is a better choice for the research and development of intelligent instruments and portable handheld devices. Mfrc522 utilizes advanced modulation and demodulation concepts, integrating all types of passive contactless communication modes and protocols at 13.56MHz. Support 14443a compatible transponder signal. The digital part processes 1s014443a frame and error detection. In addition, it also supports the fast crypt01 encryption algorithm, and validates the Mifare series of products. Mfrc522 supports higher speed contactless communication of Mifare series, and the bidirectional data transmission rate is up to 424kbit / s. As a new member of 13.56hz high integration read-write card family, mfrc522 has many similarities with MFRC500 and mfrc530, but also has many characteristics and differences. The SPI mode is adopted for communication between it and the host, which is beneficial to reduce the connection, the volume of PCB and the cost
