Many manufacturers have such chips, such as the CP210x series of Silicon LABS, TUSB3410 of T1, CH34x series of Nanjing qinheng, FT232 series of DTDI, PL230x series of Prolific, ARK3116 of Aike, etc. From the perspective of stability, FT232 series is still reliable. It can be used to debug programs without worrying about the blue screen. FT232R chip is a single-chip solution. Generally, it doesn't need peripherals. EEPROM including crystal oscillator, USB matching resistor and product information has been integrated in it. FT232r also has some useful functions.
