ESP-WORM-32 is a general-purpose WiFi + Bt + ble MCU module with powerful functions and wide applications. It can be used in low-power sensor networks and highly demanding tasks, such as voice coding, audio streaming and MP3 decoding.
The core of this module is ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip, which is scalable and adaptive. The two CPU cores can be individually controlled or powered on.
The clock frequency can be adjusted from 80MHz to 240mhz. Users can cut off the power supply of CPU and use low-power coprocessor to constantly monitor the status change of peripherals or whether some analog quantity exceeds the threshold value. Esp32 also integrates a variety of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensor, Hall sensor, low-noise sensor amplifier, SD card interface, Ethernet interface, high-speed sdl0 / SPI, UART, 12S and 12C.

CPU and memory
Two low-power xtensa32 bit lx6 MCU are built in esp32-d0wd6.
On chip storage includes
• 448kb ROM for program startup and kernel function call.
• 520kb on-chip SRAM for data and instruction storage.
• 8 KB SRAM in RTC, that is, RTC slow memory, can be accessed by coprocessor in deep sleep mode.
• 8KB SRAM in RTC, that is, RTC fast memory, can be used for data storage and access by main CPU when RTC starts in deep sleep mode.
• 1 kbit of efus, of which 256bit is dedicated to the system (MAC address and chip settings); the remaining 768bit is reserved for user applications, including fast encryption and chip 1D.

Esp32 integrates antenna switch, RF balun, power amplifier, low noise amplifier, filter and power management module. The whole solution occupies a small area of PCB.

Esp32 can run applications as a single system or slave device of host MCU, and provide wi if and Bluetooth functions through SPI or SDIO or 12C / UART interface
3. Low power consumption
Esp32 is designed for mobile devices, wearable electronic products and Internet of things applications. The chip has all the features of the industry's high-level low-power chip, such as resolution clock gating, power saving mode and dynamic voltage adjustment.
