Ltk5128 is a 5W, mono class AB / class D switching function, low EMI, no filter audio power amplifier chip. Through a mode pin, it can easily switch to ab mode to eliminate EMI interference. Working voltage 2.5v5.5v can provide more than 90% efficiency in the mode of class D amplifier. The new type of filter free structure can save the low-power filter of traditional class D amplifier, thus saving the system cost and PCB space. It is the choice of portable application. DRC (dynamic range control) technology is adopted to reduce the distortion dynamic response caused by wave top cutting when high power output is reduced.

1、 Is there noise on the power amplifier board?
The power filter is not good, which is caused by AC ripple, so the problem can be basically solved by increasing the filter capacitance;
The sound source itself is caused by noise. It is better to use lossless format for sound test
Poor quality signal wire or not special shielded wire
The signal wire is in poor contact or suspended. If the ground wire at the input end is suspended, the noise will be very loud
The board installed in the metal shell can play a shielding role, which can largely avoid dry resistance
Mutual interference of shared power supply and unreasonable wiring during installation
 
2、 The sound of the amplifier board is low?
If the loudspeaker has no exposed box, the sound will feel low if it is short circuited. If there is no box for the time being, the simplest test method is: find a box, glue it all around with self-adhesive to make a temporary box, dig a big hole that just can fit the loudspeaker, and play the loudspeaker with its mouth facing out, the effect is better;
The power and impedance of the horn do not match the power amplifier. The rated power of the horn should be larger or equal to the output power of the power amplifier. The impedance is generally 4-8ohm. The horn is also divided into tweeter, midrange, bass and full frequency speakers. The material and caliber of the vibrating membrane of the horn are also very important. Please select according to the specific situation;
If the input signal level is too low to reach the required amplitude of the power amplifier, it should usually be between 600mv-1v. If not, the preamplifier should be added.
 
3、 Power amplifier board distortion?
Distortion is the phenomenon that the input signal and output signal change in amplitude proportion, phase relation and waveform shape. The distortion of audio power amplifier can be divided into two categories: Electrical distortion and acoustic distortion. The electric distortion is caused by the circuit, and the acoustic distortion is caused by the loudspeaker of the sound returning device. The types of electric distortion are harmonic distortion, intermodulation distortion and transient distortion. Acoustic distortion is mainly AC interface distortion, according to the nature, there are nonlinear distortion and linear distortion. Beginners often ignore the following "electric distortion": the selected power supply voltage, power is too low, open loud will be distorted. For example, if the output peak power of a power amplifier is 15W and the recommended working voltage is 12V, then the power supply should be 1.5 times higher than the output peak power of the power amplifier by about 22W, that is, the current = power lot voltage = 22 / 12 = 1.8A. High input level amplitude will also cause saturation distortion
